2011 Hosting Rights

2011 Hosting Rights

Thank you for your interest in hosting one of the Chamber’s Before Hours Events or one of the Chamber’s After Hours Events. Please be aware that your business must meet all requirements listed in the 2011 Hosting Agreement to be eligible; new requirements have been added, so please review these carefully. 

 

If you are a Chamber member who runs a hotel, please click here for more information specific to the events which will be hosted solely by hotels.                    

 

For all other businesses, the Hosting Rights Procedure will now be carried out as follows:


There will be eight slots total available for hosting a Business Before Hours Event, and ten slots total available for hosting a Business After Hours Event. If your business is interested in hosting one of these 18 events, you must register by filling out a Hosting Agreement prior to September 10, 2010.

The completed form must be submitted to Diane at the Chamber of Commerce by September 10, 2010. If you need to contact Diane, please call 309-829-6344, or email Diane@mcleancochamber.org.

Once all interested businesses have registered through this process, a drawing will be held to determine the businesses which will host the 2011 events and which time slot these businesses will have. This drawing will take place at the Business After Hours Event at Concrete Evolutions on September 15, 2010, in front of all those Chamber members which are present. The businesses drawn will be given the rights to one of the 2010 events. Two alternates will also be drawn at this time, and will be given the opportunity to replace one of the selected 18 members if for any reason they are unable to host their drawn event.


If your business is selected at the time of the drawing, a $500 fee will be required from each business drawn to host an event. $100 of this fee is required as a deposit and must be received by the Chamber no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday October 15, 2010. The remaining $400 will be invoiced at a later date prior to the hosted event.
