BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL, IL—Heartland Bank and Trust Company proudly announces the promotion of Belinda Landry as Community Reinvestment Mortgage Banker to serve local customers. She most recently worked in the bank’s loan servicing support area. In her new role, Landry serves customers in the Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Peoria, and Farmer City communities and is based at the bank’s 405 N. Hershey Road location in Bloomington. She is responsible for assisting customers with residential lending needs, including new home mortgages, mortgage refinancing, second mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit. Landry specializes in helping homebuyers understand and use down payment assistance and community grant programs.
A graduate of Summit Christian College and Lincoln Christian University, Landry previously worked as a licensed professional counselor and continues to retain her counseling license in order to provide pro bono services for various mental health establishments. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Illinois Counseling Association, and American Association of Christian Counselors. Involved in the community, she is active at Saybrook Christian Church where she assists with the community outreach team and food pantry initiative. She also volunteers as a worship leader, elementary teacher, and adult women’s leader. Originally from Canon City, Colorado, Landry makes her home in Saybrook with her husband Stacy and daughter Stacia.
