Kickin’ Back at the Crib is a 24-team single elimination Kickball Tournament to benefit McLean County nonprofit organizations. Get your team out of the office and onto the kickball field for an afternoon of team building, networking, and fun.
The tournament champions will receive a $5,000 payment that is to be donated to a charitable 501(c)3 organization that is a current Chamber member in good standing. The charitable 501(c)3 organization must be identified at the time of team registration. Benefiting nonprofit organizations must be a McLean County charitable 501(c)3 organization and a current Chamber member. Foundations do not apply. There are many ways to participate in this event. By participating in “Kickin’ Back at the Crib”, your company can;
Register a Team and Increase Employee Engagement – Kickball offers a team building opportunity outside the office that is inclusive, collaborate and non-competitive.
Sponsor the Event and Raise Visibility – Sponsors are recognized with logo placement on all competitor t-shirts, digital and printed materials.
Showcase your Business or Organization and Raise Awareness – Tent Showcase vendors will be set up on the concourse. This is your chance to engage with the teams and fans.
Attend as a Spectator – Come to the event as a spectator or cheerleader and support the local community. Money raised from “Kickin’ it Back at the Crib” directly supports a nonprofit organization in McLean County.
This is a 24-team single elimination tournament. Tournament games will begin at 10am, and continue every 90 minutes with the Championship game taking place at 7:00pm. The Champion will need to win at least 4 games, maybe 5.
Games will have a five (5) inning or 75-minute time limit. At least three (3) innings must be complete to be considered a full game.
Official team rosters may include up to 15 players. A minimum of 8 players on the field at any time, with 4 males and 4 females at any time. A team may have up to 11 players on the field at one time. All participating players can be in the kicking lineup, and be at least 18 years of age by the event date.
A team must have a captain or co-captains. Only captains can argue with officials.
The kicker must be on or behind home plate when he or she kicks the ball. Bases are 60 feet apart with the pitcher in the middle of the diamond.
Mercy Rule is 10 runs after four (4) innings.
There will be a 5 minute grace period after the scheduled start time of each game.
Participation waivers will be required.
