PAC and Midterm Elections

Now that the election is over, it is time to start working with our elected officials on the issues and make sure the business communities concerns are heard.  I would like to thank the individuals that supported the McLean County Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee this election cycle and encourage those that have not been involved to do so by making a contribution.

Our support of PRO-BUSINESS candidates is important and our record of success is very impressive for our first general election.  The McLean County Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee supported candidates across the map of Illinois and were successful helping candidates get elected in 90% of the races in which we were involved.  This is a great result!

The McLean County Chamber of Commerce PAC endorsements and the results are in:

  • State Senator Dan Rutherford – Illinois Treasurer
  • State Representative Dan Brady, 88th District
  • State Representative Shane Cultra, 105th District
  • State Representative Keith Sommer, 106th District
  • State Representative Bill Mitchell, 87th District
  • State Representative – Elect Michael Unes, 91st District
    Defeated Incumbent Michael Smith
  • State Representative – Elect Adam Brown, 101st District
    Defeated Incumbent Robert Flider
  • State Representative – Elect Richard Morthland, 71st District
  • State Representative – Elect Chad Hays, 107th District

The PAC also endorsed State Senator Bill Brady for Governor.

With your support, the McLean County Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee can help support Pro-Business elected officials at the state and local level.  If you are interested in making a contribution, please mail your contribution to:
