The McLean County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Results series, a new professional development opportunity designed for those small and home-based businesses that don’t have ready access to marketing, human resource or accounting services. Results offers many of the tools you might need to help get a handle on those areas of your enterprise.

 

In January, Results moves from marketing to another vital area of business: Results for Human Resources - specifically, the unemployment insurance claims process. Session 1 on January 5 featured an expert presentation from Bennett Krause of the Illinois Department of Employment Security. From there, Results for Human Resources transitioned from passive to more active learning with a panel discussion in the second month.

 

In month three (March), Bennett Krause with the Illinois Department of Employment Security will lead participants through case studies and role plays to take you completely through the process and help better educate you in the workings of the claims procedure from the employer side.

 

The Budgeting and Finance (Spring) sessions will follow the same template.      

 

Each session costs just $10, or you may register for all three sessions in a series (Marketing, HR, Finance) for just $25. And while the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions are related by topic, each individual Results session can stand alone. You don't need to attend the first in a series to attend the second or third.
