Workforce development is a key issue for the McLean County community. COMPACT, a subsidiary of the Chamber, is dedicated to championing the region's educational and training institutions, resources, and programs that enable Bloomington-Normal's existing and future employers to cultivate, retain, and attract the talent that they need.
Public policy impacts the ability of local commerce greatly. Whether it be on the local, state, or federal level, the Chamber is always working to advocate for business perspectives and business-friendly policies. As part of your membership, you're able to engage with our work by serving on our Political Action Committee, or by staying up to date on policy decisions by subscribing to our weekly Advocacy Update email.
