About our presenters:
Dana Vogelmeier is a consultant, speaker, and trainer with a passion for helping companies create a workplace that employees love. She has had her own work experiences that were amazing and some that were less than amazing. Because of her personal experience and reflections on what made each experience good, average, or bad, she began to research and practice what she learned.
She holds an undergraduate degree in business, a master’s degree in Leadership, and is a Certified Performance Learning Professional (the CPLP designation). She is also certified to facilitate John Maxwell Leadership Training programs and The Culture Works programs.
Dana considers herself addicted to learning. She loves being challenged and stretched for self-improvement. She is a board member of her Association of Talent Development Chapter, very involved in Rotary International, and with Ted X Normal, where she completed a Ted Talk in 2016.
She has worked in several leadership roles over the past 20 years in Ohio, Texas, and Illinois. She is married to Scott, an attorney who works in the field of Bank Compliance, and a they have a daughter who is a Social Media Manager at an Advertising Firm in New York City.
Sam Lewis and his wife Terri are the owners of Pridestaff, a staffing and recruiting agency located here in Bloomington Normal. He has been in leadership and management roles for over 30 years.
Sam started his career as an HR manager in a factory. He has been a factory manager, a GM, and the VP of Engineering with responsibility for 8 manufacturing plants across the U.S.
