Chamber Brings Businesses and Community Together at Twin Cities Showcase

The McLean County Chamber of Commerce welcomed over 800 attendees to its annual Twin Cities Showcase, presented by CEFCU, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Illinois State University Bone Student Center. The event brought together a vibrant mix of local businesses, nonprofits, and food selections, offering the public a unique opportunity to explore, connect, and engage with McLean County’s thriving business community.
Kimberly Schoenbein with CEFCU, had this to say as the event's presenting sponsor:
The showcase offers companies the chance to introduce their products and services to a broader audience. Whether attendees were discovering businesses for the first time or gaining deeper insights into familiar brands, the event served as an open invitation to engage: We’re open for business.
CEFCU is proud to support the Twin Cities Showcase and recognizes the importance of events like these in building strong, prosperous local economies. Supporting local business is at the heart of our mission, and the showcase is a powerful example of how collaboration and visibility can lead to real opportunity. From small startups to established enterprises, the Twin Cities Showcase continues to be a launching pad for innovation, meaningful connections, and community pride.
With more than 100 exhibitors, the Showcase featured everything from solopreneurs to large businesses, each bringing something unique to the public. Many of the participants were returning exhibitors, citing the event’s exceptional value in having face-to-face connections engaging in meaningful conversations with potential clients and collaborators.
Dillion Elliott, owner of Fly Square Media and a participating solopreneur, shared his thoughts on the experience:
It was a pleasure connecting with so many amazing business owners and members of the community. It really was an incredible experience. I'm genuinely excited to keep building, learning, and growing alongside this amazing group of people.
During the Showcase, attendees also enjoyed the Taste of Twin Cities, sponsored by Chestnut Health Systems. Guests sampled a wide array of dishes from across McLean County, highlighting the region’s rich flavors.
The success of this year's Showcase helps to build a vibrant, progressive business community that works together to make McLean County a great place to do business by promoting local enterprises, attracting visitors, and driving community-wide economic growth. Twin Cities Showcase will return in 2026.
