2025 Fall Job Fair: Connect Job Seekers To Opportunities
More than 350 job seekers had the opportunity to connect with over 30 local and regional employers at the 2025 Fall Job Fair hosted by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday October 21st.
The event provided a platform for job seekers to explore career opportunities across various industries including healthcare, manufacturing, education, retail, finance, and public service. Employers in attendance represented a broad spectrum of roles and experience levels, from entry-level positions to advanced career tracks.
“Our goal was to bridge the gap between job seekers and opportunities, and the turnout truly exceeded expectations,” said Shelly Purchis, Manager of Workforce Development. “The strong participation reflects both the demand for skilled talent and the community’s enthusiasm for economic and career development.”
In addition to networking and on-the-spot interviews, attendees benefited from free resume reviews, free professional headshots, and essential workplace skills training.
The event supports ongoing efforts to strengthen the local workforce, promote economic growth, and help individuals take the next step in their career journey.
