Girl Scouts of Central Illinois
For twenty years, Girl Scouts of Central Illinois (GSCI) has been a vital force dedicated to fulfilling our mission: to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Our agency’s presence has been a consistent fixture in McLean County, serving local girls with distinction. This local commitment is part of a much larger, foundational legacy, as the Girl Scout program itself has been established and continuously adapting to meet the evolving needs of girls for well over a century. Crucially, we maintain a powerful local footprint, serving approximately 700 girls, age 5-17, each year in McLean County. This essential work is made possible by the dedication of 200 community volunteers who give their time, energy, and expertise to mentor the next generation of local leaders. Volunteers play an essential role in delivering Girl Scout programming in our community. Our volunteers provide unmatched support, serve as guides and mentors, and help girls to develop skills, grow in confidence, and work to achieve their goals.
