2026 PAC Annual Fundraiser

The McLean County Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (PAC) hosted its 2026 annual fundraiser on Thursday, August 6th, bringing together members of the local business community, elected officials, and candidates for the McLean County Board for an evening focused on civic engagement, public policy, and the future of McLean County’s business climate.

The event provided an opportunity for business leaders to connect directly with candidates and elected officials, learn more about their priorities, and engage in conversations about the issues impacting businesses and the local economy.

County Board Candidates present included:

  • Rick Perez, District 3
  • William Bessler, District 4
  • John Poling, District 7
  • Geoff Tompkins, District 7
  • Lea Cline, District 8
  • Jennifer Brown, District 9
  • Corey Beirne, District 10
  • Matt Steinkoenig, District 10

The business community has an important role to play in shaping the policies that impact our economy, our workforce, and our communities. Following the 2026 focus on McLean County Board races, the PAC will turn its attention toward the 2027 municipal elections and opportunities to support pro-business leadership at the local level.
