So much of the Chamber's programming, initiatives, and community-wide efforts rely on volunteers like you as the driving force. Help us implement our program of work by serving on one of the following committees:

Recognition Committee Twin Cities Showcase Event Committee
Mission: To help aid the nomination process for Business Excellence Awards and the ATHENA Leadership Award®. Event Mission: To provide valuable exposure of Chamber members through an event focused on networking, marketing, and promotional opportunities.
Duties:

Formulating general policies and criteria for the awards.
Soliciting, reviewing, and evaluating nominations for awards and honors.
Selecting the recipients of the awards and honors.
Recommending new awards or honors, or removing existing ones, as appropriate or necessary.
Attending meetings and participating in other activities related to the awards and honors program.
Duties:

Vendor booth sales and solicitation to past and prospective exhibitors.
Taste of the Twin Cities solicitation.
Sponsorship asks if necessary.
Marketing ideas and social media assistance.
Engage in event set-up and tear down.
Solicit door prices if committee warrants doing so.

STROKER Golf Classic Event Committee Agribusiness Council
Event Mission: To host a premier golf event offering members the opportunity to network with other members and their guests. Mission: To facilitate a healthy business climate by enhancing awareness of the agriculture industry through social and networking activities.
Duties:

Advise on related event programming.
Volunteer the day of the event to help ensure the event runs smoothly.
Make the connections for chamber staff and potential sponsors or those who would be interested in donating prizes.
Promotion of the event via email, social media and other platforms to reach out to potential sponsors and event attendees.
Assist with recruiting foursomes and individual golfers.
Assist with securing sponsorships.
Duties

Advise on related event programming for Ag Dinner and Ag Breakfast.
Advise, help obtain nominations and then vote on Ag Awards.
Make the connections for Chamber staff and potential sponsors.
Promotion of the event via email, social media and other platforms to reach out to potential sponsors and event attendees.
