Business Education Overview
Business Education through the Chamber offers practical, skill-focused learning opportunities designed to support professional growth and business success. We offer two different tiers you can participate in - Microcertificate Courses and Peer Roundtables.
Micro-certificate Courses provide structured, in-depth instruction across key business disciplines, delivering a cohesive learning experience through a series of connected sessions. These courses require an affordable fee to participate and are limited to no more than 20 members at a time to maintain a balanced learning environment. Participants may complete a full Micro-certificate track or attend individual sessions based on their goals. In addition, pop-up roundtable discussions are available at no cost to Chamber members, creating opportunities to connect, share insights, and explore timely business topics with fellow professionals.
Peer Roundtables provide access to open subject-driven discussions facilitated by a Chamber member with both preset topics and ones you bring to the table. These roundtables are included with your membership. Bring your challenges and solve them together! They are held on a regular basis for members facing similar challenges to discuss best practices to improve their business.

Peer Round Tables
Peer Roundtables are included at no cost with your Chamber membership. These regular meetings bring together chamber members who face similar business challenges to share ideas, discuss best practices, and learn from one another. Each roundtable is an open, facilitated discussion led by a Chamber member and includes both planned topics and time for participants to bring their own questions or challenges. Come ready to share, learn, and collaborate on solutions together.
2026 Peer Roundtables will be announced in March.

The McLean County Chamber of Commerce is revamping its Micro-certificate Program to provide focused, practical business education designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s professionals.
In 2026, three Microcertificate Courses will be offered:

Microcertificate Course on Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Each Micro-certificate Course consists of four structured sessions that deliver actionable insights and real-world strategies within a specific business discipline. Participants who complete all four sessions within a track will earn a Micro-certificate in that subject area.
